Corn syrup, sweeteners, flour, starches and edible oils leave Iowa in our trucks and end up in the bread, cereal and snacks on American tables. What carries over from the military

• Discipline and procedure. Food-grade hauling runs on checklists: wash tickets, seals, pre-trip inspections. You already live that way.
• Mission first. Our shippers count on 99% on-time pickup and delivery. Getting the load there safely is the job.
• Situational awareness. Weather, traffic, a long night on the road. You have been trained to stay sharp.
• Teamwork. Dispatch, the shop and the drivers work as one crew. One call reaches a real person.

Your military driving counts

• Military experience counts toward our 2-year requirement. Verifiable tractor-trailer experience or military equivalent.
• You may be able to skip the CDL driving test. Under the federal Military Skills Test Waiver (49 CFR 383.77), a state can waive the CDL skills test for current and recently separated service members who safely drove heavy military vehicles, such as an Army 88M motor transport operator. In 2026 FMCSA extended the window to apply from one year to two years after your military driving job; check with the Iowa DOT military CDL waiver page for what applies to you.
• No tanker experience? We train you. Paid tanker training for every new driver.
